Kevin Talks Tech: Episode 4 Part 2 – Mark Cherrington
In this part 2 of episode 4 of Kevin Talks Tech, you’ll hear the second part of my conversation with Mark Cherrington, his organization, The Coalition for Justice and Human Rights, and we’ll hear some very real stories about the kind of vulnerable people they help. We talk a bit about how tech plays a role, but the focus here is to bring attention to the important work they do.
The Coalition’s work is entirely supporter funded. Please consider making a donation using the link below.

In part two of this conversation, he tells us a couple of very real stories. He talks about a suicidal Indigneous minor, and how he prevented at least one opportunity for her to kill herself, though those in charge didn’t seem to care. He also tells, again from his perspective, the story of a minor he helped, who was sexually exploited, though she grew up to have a seemingly much better life.
Please, I implore you, don’t let that deter you from watching or listening.
I have also included some provided images in the video version to emphasize his points and bring incredibly needed attention, and hopefully resources, to his organization’s work as they help the most vulnerable in society.
We need to pay attention to this, and push our leaders and politicians to do the same, because honestly, these situations are almost completely avoidable! These stories are NOT easy to hear, but are necessary to hear, and certainly may be triggering for some people.
