Quick Tip: How To Turn Off Windows 10 Notifications For Certain Apps

In this Quick Tip, I will show you how to access and disable or enable certain notifications for each app, program, and even certain things in Windows itself.

In the Start Menu, click on the gear icon, or “Settings”.

In Settings, click on “System”.

Then click on “Notifications” on the left.

On this page, you’ll see quite a few options. It’s important to take a good look around before changing anything.

Under “Notifications”, there’s a catch-all switch to disable ALL notifications.

Below that, there are a few checkboxes for things like “Show notifications on the lock screen”, “Show reminders and incoming VoIP calls on the lock screen”, “Allow notifications to play sounds”, and more.

Under “Get notifications from these senders”, you can turn on or off notifications from each specific app or program that is able to give you notifications. This includes your web browsers, Settings in Windows itself, and more.
