How To Series: Download, Install, and Use Bit Warden

In this blog post series, I will talk about and walk you through how to download, install, and use the password manager called Bit Warden, which has a FREE version with basically everything you’ll need as a personal or even small business user, including the standalone desktop application, and the browser plugins for Firefox, Chrome, and Edge to assist you with logging into websites securely.

I will also walk you through how to use Bit Warden in Firefox.

Bit Warden is an open-source alternative to LastPass and even 1Password. I was a LastPass user for several years until the latest hack clarified the company’s mismanagement and the shocking details regarding the two large-scale hacks they allowed to happen that exposed user information. You can read more about that on my Substack blog.

A password manager is necessary to use the internet to store and use your login credentials for countless websites securely, and Bit Warden is an excellent choice. And no, there is NO risk for them to be compromised, which they detail HERE.

Please note that this How To Guide is FREE, along with my How To Guide for 1Password. Password Managers are essential now, and I don’t feel right putting them behind my Subscribers paywall. Everyone should have access to this information.

That’s how you can find, download, and use Bit Warden.
