Since iOS 17.3, Apple has included a feature called Stolen Device Protection. In this blog post, I will describe it, explain why it is so important, and walk you through how to access it.

Whether or you're at the airport, on vacation, or walking down the street, thieves know the iPhone in your pocket is valuable. They might try to pickpocket you or even put a gun to your back, demanding you hand it over, along with your wallet. They also know that modern iPhones have face unlock and other security features, so they'll attempt to force you to unlock your device or tell them your pass code to gain access to it.
