Tech News: Microsoft Confirms It Can’t Fix The KB5034441 0x80070643 Error On Windows 10
Back in January, Microsoft released an update for Windows 10 that could not be installed due to specific conditions that exist on certain computers (many of them). The issue has persisted, but the suggested solutions are NOT worth the risk. Please hide or ignore the update.

What's Going On:
According to GHacks.net (yes, they’re a reputable site), Microsoft has officially confirmed that it will NOT fix the KB5034441 (0x80070643) error on Windows 10. Users ran into the error in January this year.
Simply put, the solution is particular to each computer, and NOT something a generic patch can resolve.
Solutions involve making changes to the partitions on your computer, which you should absolutely NOT do. Please don’t do that. The best thing to do here is IGNORE the update.
My Take:
Making the suggested changes is NOT worth the risk of potentially breaking Windows in the process and thus reinstalling unless you know EXACTLY what you’re doing. Please just ignore the error and the update.
Although Microsoft deems this an important update and pushed it out to ALL Windows 10 computers, it only affects systems configured a certain way, but they couldn’t deploy it to only those systems.
Perhaps they felt it was due diligence to recommend the solutions, but the steps involved are NOT something regular users should attempt. Given the risks, I would argue it's irresponsible to suggest them. It's much better to just tell people to ignore the error if they see it or even hide the update.
I honestly cringe at the thought of regular people thinking they can attempt the steps because Microsoft makes a point of mentioning them. Please don't. It's just NOT worth it.
